The X Factor champion has recruited the help of the 'Earthquake' star as he puts together his first solo record.
James Arthur has recruited the help of Labrinth for his debut studio album, it has been reported.
The 'Let The Sun Shine' star apparently told the Daily Star that he is "excited" to team up with the former X Factor champion on his first record.
The artists are both signed to Simon Cowell's Syco label and a collaboration could also feature on the producer's next studio album.
"I love James. Hopefully we'll get in the studio and do something," he explained. "I don't know if it'll be for my album or his but we're excited to work together."
James is currently on tour with the rest of the 2012 cast of The X Factor and was also recently nominated for a BRIT Award at the 2013 ceremony.
His debut single 'Impossible' eventually lost out to Adele's hit 'Skyfall' for Best British Single with Capital FM.
Speaking to Capital ahead of the show, James admitted it was just an honour to be nominated against such stars as Adele and Emeli Sande.
