Panic! At The Disco's "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" almost had a completely different name

Panic! At The Disco manager, Scott Nagelberg recently revealed that "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" was very nearly called "Flam Chorus" and we can't stop thinking about it. He also revealed the other original working song titles for 2005's A Fever You Can't Sweat Out.
2019 will mark 14 years since Panic! At The Disco's A Fever You Can't Sweat Out and there's no denying how much that album still profoundly bangs. As much Panic! At The Disco's debut album introduced us to their addictive sound, it also gave us the novelty of their outlandishly long and specific song titles.
Where would we be without song titles like 'Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off'? As it turns out, Panic! manager Scott Nagelberg knows exactly where we'd be. Nagelberg recently shared a photo of the master of AFYCSO, dated August 1, 2005.
Nagelberg explained on Instagram that he'd rediscovered the master while packing up his apartment.
"Unearthed the master of AFYCSO while packing up the apartment this weekend – almost 14 years old to the date!" he wrote. "Nobody could have predicted the wild ride ahead with four kids who had never played a show outside of Vegas."
While Nagelberg reflected on his experience with Panic! and working with Brendon Urie, he also shared some not-so-familiar song titles that predated the AFYCSO titles we know and love.
Original titles like 'Sweat' and 'Relax' became 'Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off' and 'Camisado', respectively. The most fascinating change was the switch from 'Flam Chorus' to the band's debut single, 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies'.
Here's how all the tracks changed:
1) 'Intro' → 'Introduction'
2) 'Applause' → 'The Only Difference Between Martyrdom And Suicide Is Press Coverage'
3) 'NYC' → 'London Beckoned Songs About Money Written By Machines'
4) 'Nails' → 'Nails For Breakfast, Tacks For Snacks'
5) 'Relax' → 'Camisado'
6) 'Time To Dance' → 'Time To Dance'
07 'Sweat' → 'Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off'
08 'Interlude' → 'Intermission'
09 'Cabaret' → 'But It’s Better If You Do'
10) 'Flam Chorus' → 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies'
11) 'Esteban' → 'I Constantly Thank God For Esteban'
12) 'Top Hats' → 'There’s A Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven’t Thought Of It Yet'
13) 'Favourite Things' → 'Build God, Then We’ll Talk'
Interestingly enough, 'Time To Dance' was the only song on the track list to stay the same on the master and the debut album version.
