Lil Nas X is back with a new stone-cold banger and everyone is living for how frank and unapologetic his 'Holiday' lyrics are.
Ever since Lil Nas X first rose to fame with his international hit single 'Old Town Road', the entire world has fallen in love with him. From his undeniable bops ('Panini' still slaps) to his hilarious tweets (who is on his level, seriously?), there's nothing not to love about the 21-year-old. Not to mention, Lil Nas X is one of the few openly gay rappers in the music industry today.

'Holiday' is Lil Nas X's first single from his upcoming debut album and it's safe to say that it doesn't disappoint. In the song, Lil Nas addresses everything from his sexuality to his haters and the video sees him transform into the hottest Santa alive.
What do Lil Nas X's Holiday lyrics mean?

In the first verse, Lil Nas X drops a tongue-in-cheek reference to gay sex. He raps: "I might bottom on the low, but I top shit." In other words, he's a bottom in the bedroom but when it comes to everything else, he's on top. He also addresses his rise to success: "Man, I snuck into the game, came in on a horse / I pulled a gimmick, I admit it, I got no remorse."
Lil Nas also calls out anyone trying to dismiss his achievements. He raps: "Nobody tried to let me in, nobody opened doors / I kicked them motherfuckers down, they didn't have a choice," and he references how versatile he is. He adds: "Switch the genre on you hoes, do a rock hit (Mmm) / I got the biggest damn song, fuck the charts, sis."
Naturally, the internet is living for it. Writer Grace Medord tweeted: "the only thing i care about today is 'i might bottom on the low but i top shit' being the opening line on a track from a mainstream rap artist, if u wanna talk cultural fuckin resets!!!!!!! [sic]"
