Hayley Williams and Taylor York are officially together!

Paramore’s Hayley Williams and Taylor York have confirmed that they’re dating.

In a recent interview to promote Paramore's much-anticipated comeback single, 'This Is Why', Hayley and Taylor have confirmed that they are in a relationship. The relationship has been speculated by fans ever since Hayley divorced her ex-husband, New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert.

'This Is Why' is Paramore’s first new piece of material since 2017’s After Laughter, a time that's signified a lot of changes for the group – whether it be relationship status or the band line-up.

"More than ever we were a support system to each other that we desperately needed," Hayley told The Guardian.

That support system includes Hayley and Taylor's romantic relationship. In the profile, The Guardian journalist Laura Snape writes: "Today, their mutual tenderness is clear – arranged in front of the fireplace like a family portrait, they regard each other with a sort of fond awe. (Williams and York confirm rumours that they are dating but decline to comment further.)"

Of course, fans have been losing it over the revelation, taking to Twitter to express their feelings. "I don't really care about real life people's relationships but Hayley Williams and Taylor York dating has slightly restored my faith in love,” one person wrote.

"Taylor York went from saving Paramore from disbanding to literally dating Hayley Williams herself. Absolute unit of a lad,” said another. "I never imagined that Hayley Williams and Taylor York would announce that they are a couple through a Paramore article,” commented a third.

Many fans have also pointed out that there were signs of a romance in Hayley’s 2020 solo album Petals for Armour. "Acting surprised about Taylor York and Hayley Williams as if Crystal Clear doesn't exist. I'm just stupid idk,” wrote one Twitter user.

"Now that taylor york and hayley williams is finally confirmed to be dating, i need to sit down and bawl over petals for armor again y'all [sic],” said another.

Paramore’s sixth studio album, This is Why, will be released on February 10th, 2023.
