Harry Styles released Lights Up on National Coming Out Day and fans are praising the bisexual themes in the lyrics and video.
Harry Styles is back and fans are already losing it over his 'Lights Up' lyrics and video. They're calling it a "bisexual anthem".
Ever since Harry Styles released his debut album in 2017, we've been desperate to hear more music from him. Not only was 'Sign of the Times' excellent but the entire LP was too and fans have been excited to see what's next for the One Direction star.
Last weekend (Oct 5), Harry broke the internet by simply tweeting "Do". Harry then upped the ante on Wednesday (Oct 10) by putting up mysterious posters and billboards with 'Do You Know Who You Are?' written on them around the world.

Now the mystery has been explained. Harry released his new single 'Lights Up' today (Oct 11) and it's stunning.
The 'Lights Up' lyrics see Harry sing "Know who you are / Do you know who you are?" and "Shine, I'm not ever going back / Shine, step into the light". Meanwhile, the video sees Harry sport an array of high-fashion looks, floating on water, floating in the air, riding a motorbike and, last but not least, stripping naked and grinding against and getting intimate with an array of attractive, sweaty men and women. Essentially, it's the most beautiful queer orgy we've ever seen.
Harry has never put any labels on his sexuality but fans have speculated for years that he's queer. He hinted at his sexuality in his previous song 'Medicine' ("The boys and the girls are in / I mess around with him / And I'm okay with it") and it seems like the 'Lights Up' lyrics and video again hint that the singer is attracted to both men and women.

Early reception to the song and video has been nothing but positive. One fan tweeted: "harry releasing a bisexual anthem on national coming out day though.. he really said gay rights". Meanwhile, another said: "harry dancing and grinding up against men and women all sweaty and the song is slow yet sexy. Harry Styles invented big dick energy & that’s final I don’t wanna hear anything else !"
Perhaps best of all, one person tweeted: "harry styles: a man releasing a song along with the video dancing with a bunch of naked men and women on national coming out day, not giving a fuck about people assuming his sexuality, doing it his way, topping the charts and trending # 1 worldwide. PERIOD".

Harry Styles - 'Lights Up' lyrics
VERSE 1
What do you mean?
I'm sorry by the way
Never coming back down
Can't you see?
I could, but wouldn't stay
Wouldn't put it like that
What do you mean?
I'm sorry by the way
I'm never coming around
It'd be so sweet if things just stayed the same
La-da-da-da-da
CHORUS
All the lights couldn't put out the dark
Runnin' through my heart
Lights up and they know who you are
Know who you are
Do you know who you are?
BRIDGE
Shine, step into the light
Shine, so bright sometimes
Shine, I'm not ever going back
Shine, step into the light
Shine, so bright sometimes
Shine, I'm not ever going back
Shine, step into the light
Shine, so bright sometimes
Shine, I'm not ever (Oh)
VERSE 2
What do you mean?

La-da-da-da-da
La-da-da-da-da (Oh)
La-da-da-da-da (Oh)
La-da-da-da-da (Oh)
CHORUS
All the lights couldn't put out the dark
Runnin' through my heart
Lights up and they know who you are
Know who you are
Do you know who you are?
