Frank Iero called Jonas Brothers a "Disney band" after Joe Jonas' previous My Chemical Romance reunion comments in June 2019.
Frank Iero has once again slammed the My Chemical Romance reunion rumours started by Joe Jonas. The musician did not mince words when he addressed the rumour in a recent interview with the Zach Sang Show. After questioning why Joe had even mentioned My Chemical Romance in the first place, Frank called the Jonas Brothers a "Disney band". Ouch.

It all started when Joe revealed in a KISS FM interview that he'd apparently heard My Chemical Romance rehearsing near the Jonas Brothers in New York.
"I've got some dirt," he said back in June. "My Chemical Romance apparently were rehearsing next to us in New York recently. Which, I thought they broke up. So, I don't know."
That didn't go over too well, apparently.
Frank quashed the rumours in an interview shortly after, and even poked fun at Joe's "scoop" on Instagram. But in the Zach Sang interview released this week, Frank had even more to say on the situation.
"I don’t understand why you would do an interview about your band and talk about someone else’s band," Frank said. "I think they’re trying to rebrand their band as a real rock band and they’re trying to mention as many rock bands and trying to get, like, synonymous with other things."
“People aren’t gonna forget that you’re a Disney band, bro. Sorry, it’s not gonna happen.”
