The stars are the latest names to pay tribute to the soul singer who passed away at the age of 73.
Flo Rida and Ed Sheeran have both posted messages on their Twitter accounts to pay tribute to Etta James who died today (20th January) at the age of 73.
The American soul singer's vocals were used on Flo Rida's recent single 'Good Feeling' and the star said he was "deeply saddened" by the news.
"I'm deeply saddened by the passing of the Great Etta James and I will be forever grateful for the gift she Blessed me with," he tweeted.
Ed Sheeran simply paid tribute by posting: "RIP Etta James."
Etta passed away through complications of leukemia and was said to have been suffering from hepatitis C and dementia at the time of her death.
Meanwhile, Ed has recently unveiled the music video to his new single 'Drunk' and is scheduled to release his new EP 'The Slumdon Bridge' next week.
