Example’s latest song from ‘Live Life Living’ has brought back the summer vibe with his “favourite” track from the album
Example’s fourth release from his latest album, ‘Live Life Living’ has definitely brought back the summer vibe with his rave-inspired track ’10 Million People’.
The promo sees two girls in the lead up to a rave – with Example himself headlining in an Ibiza-inspired setting.
The inspiration for the song came to Example from a documentary on rave culture. He told Digital Spy, “'10 Million People' was written after watching a documentary on early 90s rave culture. I found this video online where they were interviewing people at an illegal rave.”
"The guy with the microphone said to one of the revellers, 'Surely this whole rave thing is just a fad'. And the raver replied, 'Well 10 million people can't be wrong'."
Example, real name Elliot Gleave, revealed that he wrote the track in a day and it ended up being his favourite song on the album.
He added, “I wrote and produced the track in a day with Fraser T Smith. It's my favourite song on the album and feels timeless for me. Right at the last minute I went back in and added a rap at the start, just like I did on last single 'One More Day'."
