The 'Abide With Me' singer's breakthrough record has sold almost one million copies since its release in February.
Emeli Sande's debut album has been confirmed as the best-selling record in the UK this year so far, and is poised to win the highest sales in the country by the end of 2012.
The Scottish singer-songwriter arrived with her debut 'Our Version Of Events' back in February, following on from the huge success of singles like 'Heaven' and 'Daddy', and has continued to see success with further releases like 'Next To Me' leading her to sell an estimated 928,000 copies of the record in 2012 so far.
Adele's 2011 second album '21' continues its mammoth sales run in 2012 at number two on the top ten UK bestsellers of the year, while Lana Del Rey's own debut 'Born To Die' is at number three.
Ed Sheeran's breakthrough record '+' is at number four while Coldplay's 2012 live tour has propelled their latest release 'Mylo Xyloto' to number five on the current countdown.
The remainder of the top ten UK albums so far this year include artists such as Jessie J, Rihanna and One Direction.

It is not yet known how recent releases like Olly Murs' new album "Right Place Right Time', Girls Aloud's greatest hits collection 'Ten - The Hits' and the upcoming debut record 'The Female Boss' by Tulisa Contostavlos' could affect the final year sales chart.
