Ellie Goulding Splits From Dubstep Producer Skrillex Over Long Distance Issues?

The 'Starry-Eyed' star is said to have ended her seven month romance with the US producer.

Ellie Goulding has reportedly split from her producer boyfriend Skrillex after seven months due to problems over the long-distance nature of their relationship.

The 'Anything Could Happen' singer is believed to have started dating the US dubstep artist at the start of 2012, but new reports claim the two have now quietly ended their romance.

"It's really sad," a source told The Sun this week. "They were really good for each other.

"They just couldn't make it work," they explained. "They both have successful careers and live in different countries."

The UK singer launched her brand new album "Halcyon' earlier this month, and recorded an exclusive session for Capitalfm.com previewing new tracks from her second studio record.

Ellie Goulding is also set to embark on a brand new UK tour next month across nine dates, starting with a concert at the Bristol Academy on 7th December.

Ellie Goulding and Skrillex have yet to comment on reports they have split up.
