The singer-songwriter received a thank you after singing 'Your Song' at their wedding last year.
Ellie Goulding has revealed she received a special letter of thanks from Prince William and Kate Middleton after singing at their wedding last year.
The 'Anything Could Happen' singer says she will never reveal much about the private family event, that saw her perform 'Your Song' for the royal couple's first dance as husband and wife, but admits she had a "special encounter" with the couple.
"I had a special encounter with them that night and they wrote me a really beautiful letter of thanks," Ellie revealed to The Sun this week. "It was just the one night but there are still things I will never tell.
"Not that there is anything to tell, but there's a certain amount of privacy I think they should keep," she added.
