The 'Lego House' star says her friendship would be too important for him to jeopardise.
Ed Sheeran says he and Taylor Swift would never become romantically involved because he wouldn't want to ruin their friendship.
The 'A Team' singer and US star Taylor have been good friends for some time now, but have repeatedly had to deny allegations from the press that they are more than friends.
Ed, who is currently out on the road with Taylor on her 'Red' North American tour, claims the two are more than happy with their friendship and would never want to jeopardise that.
"You don't have to bang a girl just because she's your friend!" Ed revealed to The Sun this week. "It's not a necessity."
The 'Lego House' singer went on to explain he wouldn't want to "spoil" things with their friendship after they have become so close over the past year.
"So that's why I'd never go there with her," the 'Drunk' star explained. "I wouldn't want to spoil things."
