The 'Lego House' singer admits working with the 'Love Story' singer was a "breath of fresh air".
Ed Sheeran has heaped the praise on Taylor Swift after the pair worked on the country star's latest album earlier this year.
The 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' singer told Australia's Herald Sun that the experience was a "breath of fresh air".
"As a person, Taylor's such a sweetheart," he confessed. "[She's] the perfect example of what musicians should be and how they should work and react. She just loves music and she's not in it for anything else."
The artists teamed up when Ed was in the US on tour with rockers Snow Patrol and the country singer revealed that the two created the track on a trampoline.
The single will feature on Taylor's new album 'Red' which is released on 22nd October.
Meanwhile, the 'Love Story' star is preparing to unveil the official music video to her new single 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' this week.
She will also perform the track for the first time next week at the MTV Video Music Awards 2012.
One Direction, Green Day and Rihanna will also be performing at the industry event in Los Angeles.
