The 'Small Bump' singer says his new music is writing itself while he's out on the road.
Ed Sheeran has revealed he is back in "songwriting" mode while out on tour alongside Taylor Swift.
The 'Lego House' singer is joining the US star across all 66 dates of her 'Red' North American tour, and updated fans over the weekend to say he has been writing some great new song.
"Right back into songwriting today, very exciting," Ed tweeted last night (17th March). "It's been over a year since I wrote a song like this.
"When songs write themselves, that's an amazing feeling," the 'A Team' star added.
The 'Red' tour kicked off in Omaha, Nebraska last week (13th March) and saw Ed opening for the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together', before joining her on stage for a duet of their collaboration 'Everything Has Changed'.

Ed's debut on the 'Red' tour wasn't without incident when he accidentally fell while jumping from one stage speaker to another, but was uninjured by the unfortunate accident.
Ed Sheeran has also been forced to speak out on his friendship with Taylor Swift after months of rumours they are romantically involved, and insisted there is no truth to the claims and he wouldn't want to ruin their friendship.
