The 'Lego House' singer suggests the likes of Twig and PSY as possible names for the Royal baby.
Ed Sheeran says he thinks Prince William and Kate Middleton should give their first child a "rock 'n' roll name".
The 'Small Bump' singer has spoken out about the recent news William and Kate are expecting their first child together, suggesting several unusual names for the impending arrival ranging from Twig to PSYmon.
"I just think it's time for someone in the Royal Family to have a rock 'n' roll name for their kids," Ed told the Daily Star this week. "Call it Ziggy or Twig. Call it Twig or Oak Tree or PSY, or even PSYmon!
"This is the time. If ever's the time to do it, it is now," Ed declared. "I don't want there to be another name like Dave. But then Dave would be cool though, wouldn't it?"
The 'Lego House' star went on to say he thinks it's "wicked" that William and Kate are expecting their first child together, and is a fan of the Royal Family in general.
"A lot of people have mixed views on the Royal Family, but me, I think it's really cool," Ed added. "And as for Will and Kate, they're in love and they're having a baby, it's wicked."
