Ed Sheeran On Grammys 2013 Party: "Katy Perry Said My Mum And Dad Were Cool!"

The 'Lego House' singer says all anyone could talk about at the Grammys party was his "cool" parents.

Ed Sheeran has revealed that everyone from "Katy Perry to John Mayer" was calling his parents cool at a post Grammy Awards 2013 bash earlier this month.

The 'Drunk' singer says, while he originally couldn't even get in to his own party after the star-studded awards bash, once he did all anyone was talking about was how fun his mum and dad were.

"The weirdest thing for me was that I couldn't get into my own after party," Ed revealed to the Daily Star. "The bouncers said no to me.

"Which I thought was fair enough, so I stood around for a bit and was eventually let in," the 'Lego House' singer confirmed.

Ed then revealed that all night at his post Grammys bash he kept getting compliments about how cool his parents are, before questioning where their "wild streak" has been hiding.

"Every single person from Katy Perry to John Mayer to Selena Gomez kept coming up to me saying how cool my mum and dad are and how they've been buying everyone tequila all night.

"I don't know where my parents are getting this wild streak from,' he added. "They did go to bed at 2am though."

During the Grammy Awards 2013 Ed took to the stage alongside Elton John for a duet performance of his own hit 'The A Team'.

Ed Sheeran is expected to present the gong for British Male Solo artist at the BRIT Awards 2013 tonight (20th February) live from London's O2 Arena.
