The 'Lego House' singer has suggested his newly unveiled dance moves were ahead of their time.
Ed Sheeran has joked that the dance moves in his recently resurfaced audition tape for a music reality series were "ahead of their time".
Yesterday (11th September) One Direction star Liam Payne's girlfriend Danielle Peazer tweeted the 'Lego House' singer a link to his 2008 audition for ITV's Brittania High, which sees him performing an acoustic song before showing off some unusual dance moves.
While the show's panelists praised Ed for his singing voice, judge Arlene Phillips described him as "not even an option" after witnessing his dance routine to Justin Timberlake's 'Like I Love You'.
"People just don't appreciate my moves," Ed replied to Danielle yesterday, after she praised him for a "good effort" in the audition tape. "Way ahead of their time I tell ya."
"@edsheeran haha if you say so. Taken any videos or photos lately? Yo!" Danielle then replied.
During a performance out in Florida last week Ed dedicated the song 'Kiss Me' to One Direction's Liam and his girlfriend, who were both in attendance at the concert.

Two weeks ago the 'Drunk' singer was also back in the UK to help kick off the iTunes Festival 2012 in London, in a headline set which saw him memorably joined by both Wretch 32 and Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody at various points.
Ed Sheeran has been working on new music for his second studio album for the past several months, and more recently met up with One Direction in the recording studio to write some new material for their upcoming sophomore release 'Take Me Home'.
