The 'Small Bump' star says it was great to meet the 'Call Me Maybe' singer over the weekend.
Ed Sheeran has congratulated Carly Rae Jepsen on her wins at the MuchMusic Video Awards last night (17th June) and says he enjoyed getting to meet her at the Canadian event.
The 'Lego House' star took to the stage to perform his debut North American single 'The A Team' at yesterday's awards show, and send a message of congratulations to Carly for her three awards.
"@Carlyraejepsen lovely to meet you, congrats on all the awards," Ed tweeted to Carly last night.
Carly picked up nods for UR Fave Video Of The Year, Video of the Year and Most Online Streamed Video for her recent Vodafone Big Top 40 hit 'Call Me Maybe'.
"Dear @MUCHMUSIC #MMVA thanks for tonight!" Carly tweeted after performing at the MuchMusic Video Awards. "To the fans: I am blown away! 3 wins! Smiling like crazy."
Ed Sheeran released his own debut album '+' in America last week which went straight to number one on the Billboard Top 200.
The 'Small Bump' singer has promised to release a free collaboration with 'Changed The Way You Kissed Me' rapper Example later this year.
