The 'Lego House' singer is seen auditioning for the ITV music series and attempting a dance routine.
Ed Sheeran is seen showing off his rarely seen dancing skills in a clip of his audition for ITV's 2008 music series Brittania High.
The series aired four years ago, back before Ed shot to fame with his 2011 debut album '+', and the 'Lego House' singer is seen impressing the judges with his vocal performance before disappointing with his moves.
Brittania High judge Chris Neil seems excited about the then 17 year-old singer after his acoustic performance, but fellow judging panelist Arlene Phillips describes him as being "not even an option" after Ed's attempt to dance along to Justin Timberlake's 'Like I Love You', as part of the audition.
Since auditioning, and failing to get on to, the short-lived ITV series Ed has achieved huge success with his album and singles including 'The A Team', 'Small Bump' and 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You'.
Last weekend Ed took to the stage at the Camden Roundhouse in London to perform a headline set for the iTunes Fesitval 2012, where he was joined on stage by both Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol and UK rapper Wretch 32.
