The 'A Team' star says he wasn't responsible for Adele meeting her reported new husband Simon Konecki.
Ed Sheeran has denied recent press claims that he was responsible for introducing Adele to her partner Simon Konecki, amid reports today that the couple have gotten married in secret.
The 'Someone Like You' star is rumoured to have married Simon, with whom she is expecting her first child next month, at a private ceremony this week kept secret from the press ahead of the event.
'Lego House' singer Ed has been credited by several publications as having introduced the pair, but has now denied the claims on Twitter.
"The press still seem to think I introduced Adele and her boyfriend, which is odd, coz I didn't," Ed tweeted this afternoon (30th August).
The Mail Online is reporting that Adele and Simon did indeed hold a wedding this week, with a source claiming to have been in attendance at the event describing it as a "fabulous occasion" where Adele wore a "classic" wedding dress.

The couple started dating back in 2011 before Adele confirming they were together earlier this year, and the 'Rolling In The Deep' star confirmed her pregnancy back in June this year.
Adele is expected to give birth to her first child "so soon" but has yet to announce the baby's official due date.
