DJ Fresh Hoping To Meet Jay-Z At The BRIT Awards 2013 To Talk Collaborations - Video

The 'Louder' DJ says he knows the rapper is into his music so is hoping to team-up.

DJ Fresh says he would love to collaborate with Jay-Z and is looking forward to hopefully meeting the US rapper at the BRIT Awards 2013 tonight (20th February).

The 'Hot Right Now' producer, who has been nominated for British Single With Capital FM, spoke to Capital's Max on the red carpet at the event about potentially teaming up with the '99 Problems' star.

"Jay-Z. 100%," DJ Fresh said, when asked who he would love to meet at the event. "He was kind of the reason I got signed to Columbia [Records] in America.

"So I know he's into my stuff," the 'The Power' producer explained. "I haven't actually met him yet, but I'm looking forward to meeting him.

"I'll just pull my iPhone out and say I just happen to have a microphone here!" he joked.

DJ Fresh went on to say that being at the BRITs is a "really special thing" and praised all the "friendly faces" around at the event this evening.

The BRIT Awards 2013 kicks off this evening and will see performances from the likes of One Direction, Robbie Williams, Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake.
