Demi Lovato One Of First To Congratulate Selena Gomez On Birth Of Her Baby Sister

The 'Come & Get It' star became a big sister this week after her family welcomed a new child.

Demi Lovato is one of the first stars to congratulate good friend Selena Gomez on the birth of her little sister.

The 'Heart Attack' singer sent Selena a message on Twitter after hearing the news that Selena's mum Mandy Teefey had given birth to a baby girl on Thursday (13th June).

The two are known to be close friends and have often spoken in interviews about their mutual admiration for one another.

"@selenagomez IS A BIG SISTER!!!!!!" Demi tweeted earlier today. "Everyone congratulate her and her family!!!!! #CONGRATSSELENA!!!!"

The baby was born at a hospital in Northridge, Los Angeles after Selena announced that her mum was expecting her first sibling earlier this year.

Demi Lovato is currently promoting her new album 'Demi' while Selena Gomez recently returned with new song 'Come And Get It'.
