The 'Twilight' stars admit they hope to work with the star because he is "the ginger king."
Cover Drive have confessed that they are hoping to join forces with Ed Sheeran after they heard him perform live.
The Bajan band were taking part in Capitalfm.com's webchat with the band earlier today (23rd January) when they confessed their admiration for the star.
Drummer T-Ray said: "He transitions into those like reggae kinda things when he plays his songs live so that could be really cool."
Lead singer Amanda added that it was a version of one of his singles which made her think the two acts would work well together.
She added: "He played 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' and he mashed it up with this reggae song and hearing him to that reggae song – it would be really cool combination with Cover Drive."
"He's the ginger king," added T-Ray.
The group also revealed that Amanda's real name was in fact Karen during the hilarious webchat.
Meanwhile, Cover Drive recently achieved the highest new entry on the Vodafone Big Top 40 chart this past weekend with their new single 'Twilight', finishing just behind Jessie J who retained the top spot for a second week.
