The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer was destined for great things according to a former friend of the star.
Adele was "always going to be a star" according to her former classmate at the BRIT School Allan Rose.
The aspiring musician spoke to The Sun and unveiled old footage of the star singing her hit 'Daydreamer' and a series of pictures of the singer.
He confessed to the publication: "It was clear she was going to be a star. Some people were that step above everyone else. And Adele was one of them."
Allan added that everyone who knew her could see the potential and he praised the star for staying true to herself throughout her career.
He added: "She's clearly stayed grounded. She was bubbly, fun, outgoing and popular at school. Everyone is proud we spent time with this amazing talent. She was just naturally musically gifted."
Meanwhile, Adele's '21' was denied a 24th week at the top of the US billboard chart this week after Bruce Springsteen took the top spot with his new album 'Wrecking Ball'.
