The 'Turn Around' singer says it was exciting to finally write new music towards his next record.
Conor Maynard has opened up about writing and recording his second studio album, and says he put himself into the shoes of his fans while working on the new songs.
The 'Can't Say No' singer unveiled the music video for his brand new single 'R U Crazy' this week, as the lead track from his second studio album.
Conor now says the new album reflects the journey of his meteoric rise to stardom over the past two years, and says it's been "fun" getting to work on new music finally.
"I felt like I'd been writing my first album for two years, so it's been fun making the follow-up," Conor revealed to the Daily Star this week. "My journey has been amazing.
"I'm always thinking of what my fans want, what I really would enjoy listening to as one of them," he added.

Conor premiered the music video for 'R U Crazy' earlier this week (27th August), and the song was both co-written by and produced by fellow pop star Labrinth.
Conor Maynard releases new single 'R U Crazy' on 6th October and is expected to announce details about his new album very soon.
