The 'Can't Say No' star wowed fans with an energetic set at today's Capital FM event.
Conor Maynard covered Swedish House Mafia's huge hit single 'Don't You Worry Child' while making his debut at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball 2012 today (9th December).
The 'Can't Say No' singer performed his first ever Ball this evening and included recent Vodafone Big Top 40 number one 'Don't You Worry Child' as a special surprise for the thousands strong audience in attendance at tonight's event.
Brighton-born Conor kicked off his set with an energetic rendition his debut single 'Can't Say No', backed by a full live band, and headed out to the front of the stage to get the crowd singing along to the chorus.
"How are you guys feeling? Are you feeling good?" Conor shouted to the audience. "For this next song I need to know you guys are ready. I want to make sure you are dancing, jumping and singing along.
Conor then led the crowd through a chant of "I just want to party like a Mayniac", before heading straight into a performance of 'Vegas Girl'.
"For those of you who don't know, the way I started was by posting covers online, before I was found by a certain man named 'Ne-Yo'," Conor then explained, teasing his next song. "I want this to be a little more intimate so put your phones in the air and if you guys know it feel free to sing along."
The singer then surprised fans with his own acoustic take on 'Don't You Worry Child', Swedish House Madia's huge hit single which topped the chart last month.
The 20 year-old star then wrapped his Jingle Bell Ball set with recent single 'Turn Around', another big chart smash, before thanking fans and making his exit from the stage.
The Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball has already seen an opening performance from Girls Aloud and the likes of Rita Ora, Calvin Harris, Example, The Wanted and Pink are all still to perform today.
