The 'Can't Say No' singer says 'Take Care' star Drake has had a big influence on his music.
Conor Maynard has named Drake as one of his biggest inspirations and says collaborating with the 'Headlines' rapper is a "big dream" of his.
The 19 year-old singer-songwriter, who launches his debut single 'Can't Say No' in April, says he appreciates 'Take Care' rapper Drake's songwriting ability and identifies with his lyrics.
"One of the greatest inspirations to me right now has got to be Drake," Conor told Capital FM during his exclusive webchat yesterday (28th March). "I think he's an extremely talented artist and an extremely talented writer as well.
"I think the songs that he writes are so clever and really real, and you can really relate to it," Conor explained. "He's definitely someone I'm really inspired by."
The Brighton-born singer admitted that working Drake in some way down the line is definitely something he would love to do one day, after getting to watch Drake live in concert this week on the 'Take Care' rapper's UK arena tour.
He added: "Wow. That would be an amazing experience. That would be a big dream of mine to fulfil."
Conor Maynard releases his debut single 'Can't Say No' on 16th April.
