The 'Paradise' star asks fans to help him locate the car in the US.
Coldplay's Guy Berryman has launched a campaign to help find the previous owners of a vintage Maserati 3500GT car.
The 'God Put A Smile Upon Your Face' star took to the band's official website to post a picture of the automobile and asked if anyone could help him in his quest.
"Hello. I'm trying to find the previous US owners of a Maserati 3500GT during the 1960s and 70s," he wrote. "The car was the same colour scheme as above, probably located in California.
He added: "I know it's a long shot, but please email 3500@coldplay.com if you, your parents or grandparents (or someone else you know) had one like this!"
Meanwhile, the band are rumoured to be taking a three-year hiatus at the end of their 'Mylo Xyloto' world tour after Chris Martin told the crowd in Australia recently that their show would be their last big outing for three years.

Guy and the rest of the band will also be appearing at a special New Year's Eve concert in Brooklyn next month as they perform a co-headline gig alongside Jay-Z at his Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Coldplay have also recently unveiled their new live DVD and CD, taken from their 2012 'Mylo Xyloto' world tour.
