The 'Paradise' singer will reportedly play a musician in season three of the popular fantasy series.
Coldplay drummer Will Champion is apparently set for a cameo role in the upcoming season of Game Of Thrones.
The 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' singer will reportedly play a drummer in an episode of the medieval fantasy series, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Snow Patrol lead singer Gary Lightbody is also rumoured to be appearing in the next season of the show, although his part is being kept top secret by show executives.
The drummer is currently preparing to release the band's new live concert DVD later this month, which was filmed during their 'Mylo Xyloto' world tour this year.
A recent promo trailer for the film revealed how the group consider their current outing to be their best ever with Chris Martin adding that their on stage chemistry is vital to ensuring a fantastic performance.

The new DVD and live album will be released on 19th November with a new six-part comic book series also ready to be unveiled in early 2013.
Their latest music video for 'Hurts Like Heaven' also gave fans a first look at the upcoming comic.
