The 'Charlie Brown' star and his family are reportedly set to move from their London home.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and wife Gwyneth Paltrow are apparantly lining up a move to Los Angeles from their London home.
The 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' singer and his family have reportedly wanted a move across the pond for some time with their base in the capital leaving the Hollywood actress "exhausted".
"Chris and Gwyneth have wanted to move to Los Angeles for a while, " a source told Radar Online. "Gwyneth spends a lot time between the UK and the U.S. and she's exhausted.
"The purpose of buying the lavish home in Brentwood was to make that a semi-permanent base."
The publication added that the singer is willing to give the move a chance as he has always "loved" the city.
"Gwyneth spends a lot of time away from her mom, Blythe and wants to be closer to her as she gets older," the insider said. "Chris was very understanding and is willing to give living in Los Angeles a chance because he’s always loved the city."
Coldplay are coming towards the end of their 'Mylo Xyloto' world tour which will finish in November.
"Chris' band won't be working on a new album for at least another year so he has some breathing space to kick back," continued the source. "They're looking at placing Apple and Moses at a local private school – they both want to make sure the kids are settled and can get a good education."
The notoriously private couple have apparently splashed out $10.45million on a mansion in Brentwood's Mandeville Canyon.
Meanwhile, Coldplay will be back on stage in the UK next month at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympics.
