Chris Brown's Ex Karrueche Tran Opens Up On "Dysfunctional" Rihanna Love Triangle

The model speaks about her time dating the R&B singer and his love for the Bajan star.

Chris Brown's former girlfriend Karrueche Tran has opened up about dating the singer and his love for Rihanna.

The 'Don't Wake Me Up' singer split with the model towards the end of 2012 and released a video just days after explaining how he loved two women.

Speaking to Rolling Out magazine, she said it was a difficult time and "weird" to be constantly followed around.

"The paparazzi would take pictures and follow me when I wasn't around Chris. I was like 'Chris is not here, why are you following me?'," she said. "But I was constantly seeing myself on blogs and websites. It was kind of weird."

She also went on to chat about the "negativity" she was be faced with as people judged the couple's relationship from afar.

"The most challenging part about the attention was the negativity and the misconception from some people," she continued. "People only see you in blogs and they think they know everything about your life.

"There are things that go public and everything that comes out is not the truth."

Karrueche admitted she is looking for a new happiness and wants to be rememeberd for the way she dealt with the entire situation as Chris eventually got back together with Rihanna.

"Honestly, all I want is happiness. There was a lot of dysfunction and negativity," she added. "I hope people can learn from my story. I want to be remembered as someone who remained positive through such a negative situation."

Rihanna has also come out and spoken about getting back together with Chris this week, and admitted that even if it's a mistake, it's her mistake to make.
