"Tulisa was taken aback and said how much she appreciated her support," a source said.
"Everyone assumed Cheryl would be jealous of Tulisa but it's just the opposite."
Since getting cut from the US X Factor panel, Cheryl has been concentrating on her career, and with the help of her Black Eyed Peas boss will.i.am has lined up collaborations with Usher, David Guetta and Christina Aguilera for her new album.
Former TV judging buddy Louis Walsh has even revealed he wants Cheryl to perform her new single on The X Factor.
The 'Fight For This Love' singer has reportedly left single life behind after reuniting with cheating ex Ashley Cole, who serenaded Cheryl with a Bruno Mars song at a mate's party recently.
