The 'Promise This' singer will collaborate with some of the biggest names in music on her third album, expected for release in early 2012.
Cheryl Cole is currently working on her follow up to second album 'Messy Little Raindrops' and it's thought it will include numerous collaborations.
A source told The Daily Star Sunday: "Not only has she lined up Rihanna and Usher for duets on the album, she's also in talks with Nicki Minaj as there's one track in particular on her album which will.i.am thinks would be perfect to have Nicki's vocals on."
The calibre of artists is though to mark a shift in Cheryl's style. "It's much more of an urban vibe than her previous pop-based stuff".
"There's a lot of heavy beats and it has a real old-school flavour to it," said the source.
It has also been suggested that Cheryl will work with Black Eyed Peas, P Diddy and Lady Gaga's creative director and choreographer Laurieann Gibson.
