The 'Call Me Maybe' singer admits the artists are hoping to unveil their track to the world at the same time.
Carly Rae Jepsen has revealed that she is "sworn to secrecy" on details surrounding her collaboration with Justin Bieber.
The Canadian star also added that the pair have plans to release the track together at the same time – although it will be featured on her upcoming new album.
"The Justin song, I'm kind of sworn to secrecy on because I think we want to release it together at one moment," she confessed. "But the rest of the album, I'm really excited for."
She also opened up further on her duet with LMFAO's RedFoo as she explained the song is definitely in her "vein".
"There's one particular song that I can't wait to share called 'This Kiss' that I wrote with Matthew Koma and RedFoo from LMFAO," she added. "[The sound is] definitely in my vein, but he's a really brilliant guy, and I think if anything when a collaboration happens, it's a little bit of everybody that makes it what it is. So maybe not just me and not just him, but us together."
The singer also continued that the songs will reflect the experiences she is currently undertaking as well as ideas she has worked on in the past.
"There's one or two song lyrics or melodies that have been taken from previous years, but most of the music is very new, and actually a lot of it is based on this experience of what I'm going through right now," she said.
Carly recently unveiled the official music video to her new single and collaboration with Owl City entitled 'Good Time'.
