'Call Me Maybe' star tells singer she is eager to watch the much-anticipated video.
Carly Rae Jepsen has told Justin Bieber to "hurry up" and release his new music video for 'Boyfriend'.
The 'Call Me Maybe' star, who is signed to Justin's record label Schoolboy Records, is one of millions of fans of the star who are eager to see the new video.
Justin has been teasing the video in recent days with a series of clips, but has so far failed to confirm its full release date.
In a message on Twitter, Carly wrote: "Nice chatting with you today @JustinBieber ... Looking forward to your new video. Hurry up and release it!"
Meanwhile, Carly's 'Call Me Maybe' prevented 'Boyfriend' from topping the Vodafone Big Top 40 last weekend.
The track is the first single to be taken from Justin's much-anticipated new album 'Believe', which features collaborations with Kanye West, Drake and Timbaland.
Justin also revealed this week that he has recorded a track with Taylor Swift for the forthcoming album.
