Calvin Harris Named UK's Most Successful Songwriter Of 2012

The Scottish star wins the accolade two years in a row thanks to a string of number one hit singles.
Calvin Harris has been announced as the UK's most successful songwriter of 2012.
The 'Bounce' star had a fantastic past twelve months, scoring Vodafone Big Top 40 number one singles with the likes of 'We'll Be Coming Back', Cheryl Cole's 'Call My Name' and a remix of Florence & The Machine's 'Spectrum (Say My Name)'.
It's also the second year in a row in which Music Week have crowned the Scottish star with the accolade.
Taking to his Twitter account upon learning the news, the DJ said it was amazing to achieve the same feat two years on the trot.
"This is unreal...2 years in a row! :D," he wrote.
The top five also featured the likes of Sia, who most recently penned Rihanna's hit single 'Diamonds' as well as Coldplay and Fun.

Meanwhile, Calvin will also be hoping to win big at this month's Grammy Awards, where he is nominated for Best Dance Recording with 'Let's Go'.
The Grammys 2013 take place live from LA's Staples Center on 10th February.
