The 'Sweet Nothing' producer says they did meet in Las Vegas but simply said hello to each other.
Calvin Harris has denied claims he has agreed to give professional football Steven Gerrard DJ lessons, but has said he would definitely help him if the Liverpool midfielder asked.
The 'Feel So Close' singer was reportedly to have met up with the England international during a gig in Las Vegas over the summer and agreed to teach him, but has now revealed the two simply said hello to each other and nothing else was discussed.
"Sadly no," Calvin revealed to Capital FM, when asked about the rumours. "[Steven] came to a gig in Vegas. He was staying in the same hotel so he came down and said 'hello', and that was it!
"And then from him saying hello a story magically was invented,' Calvin added. "I'm not saying that I wouldn't help if he asked me, I would help."

Last week Calvin said he had been "shocked" by Lady Gaga's recent Twitter comments about their potential collaboration several years ago, and the two have since apologised to each other on the site.
