The 'Sweet Nothing' star talks about the pair's upcoming collaboration 'I Will Never Let You Down'.
Calvin Harris has told Capital that his upcoming collaboration with girlfriend Rita Ora sounds like Whitney Houston mixed with Pink.
The Scottish DJ admitted many will be predicting a dance-heavy track, but the song will take them by surprise.
"You know a lot of people assume that it's dance music because I make dance music and that's predominantly what I do but it isn't," he told Max. "It sounds like Whitney Houston to me. 1987-89 Whitney Houston mixed with Pink.
"I wrote the song with her in mind, I didn't write the song for anyone else. It wasn't just a song that was lying around. I think it really suits her.
"Sometimes I just write songs that don't sound like me."
Rita has been teasing the track and her new album for the past months as she readies the follow up to her debut.
Meanwhile, she also told Max at the BRIT Awards that it was thanks to her and the Jingle Bell Ball that the couple first got together.
