The 'Bounce' DJ speaks about the rapper's surprise slot during his set at last night's Jingle Bell Ball 2012.
Calvin Harris has confessed that Example helped keep Tinie Tempah's appearance during his set at the Jingle Bell Ball 2012 a secret.
The 'Pass Out' star surprised the 16,000 fans in attendance at the O2 Arena in London with his guest appearance and the DJ was thrilled it was kept under wraps.
"It was good because it was a secret – nobody knew that he was going to be there. Everyone had seen Example play so it was like 'oh, ok'," he revealed.
The rapper joined the producer for a rendition of their new single 'Drinkin' From The Bottle' to close the set.
The 'Feel So Close' star joked: "I just saw him just hanging outside a chippy as I was driving through East London on the way here. I was like 'Hey, Tinie, here, c'mon."
The rapper also took the time to praise the event and thanked Calvin for letting him be a part of the show.
Taking to his Twitter account, he wrote: "What a NIGHT! @Capitalofficial 's Jingle Bell Ball was off the chain!! Thank you @Calvinharris for bringing."
Calvin performed on a line-up which included the likes of The Wanted, Rita Ora and Girls Aloud.
Example has also taken to the stage earlier in the show for his own solo set.
