The 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans' singer says he is taking a break from the spotlight to work on his second album.
Bruno Mars has revealed that The X Factor USA was his last performance for the immediate future.
The 'Marry You' singer performed current single 'It Will Rain' on the reality show last night (23rd November) but says he is taking a short break to begin work on the follow-up to his debut album 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans'.
"Tonight may be my last t.v performance for a while," Bruno tweeted yesterday. "So imam try & sing the s**t out of this song on @XFactorUSA TUNE IN!!"
"Thank you @TheXFactorUSA for having me and thank you to everyone who tuned in tonight..."
Bruno later added: "And on that note... Im out! You guys mean the world to me. Happy Holidays and I hope to see you real soon.."

The 'Lighters' singer suggested he is now stepping out of the spotlight to work on his second studio album by tweeting the words "#AlbumTwo".
Bruno Mars was joined as guest artist on The X Factor USA last night by Kelly Clarkson, who performed her new single 'What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)'.
