The 'Locked Out Of Heaven' singer announced he will play the halftime show at next year's huge sporting event.
Bruno Mars has been officially confirmed to play the halftime show for the US Super Bowl 2014.
The 'Treasure' singer was widely rumoured for the highly coveted performance slot over the weekend and the announcement was officially made late on Sunday (8th September).
"WE'RE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!!! #PepsiSBHalftime," Bruno tweeted yesterday to confirm the news.
Bruno also unveiled a minute-long trailer to announce the news live frm Times Square in New York City on Sunday, which charts his rise to fame and includes footage of his days as a childhood Elvis Presley impersonator back in 1990.

The 'When I Was Your Man' star will now follow in the footsteps of previous halftime show performers like Beyonce, Madonna and Black Eyed Peas who have all played the event in the past.
The US Super Bowl XLVIII is set to take place at the MefLife Stadium in New Jersey on 2nd February 2014.
