Bruno Mars Joins Andy Garcia And Kristin Chenoweth In Cast For Rio 2?

The 'When I Was Your Man' singer is said to be voicing an unknown character in the 2014 animation.
Bruno Mars has reportedly joined the voice cast of the upcoming Blue Sky Studios animated sequel Rio 2.
The 'Locked Out Of Heaven' singer is said to have agreed to a role in the upcoming animation, a sequel to 2011's Rio, alongside a host of other big name stars.
Andy Garcia, Glee guest star and Broadway actress Kristin Chenoweth and 'We Are Young' singer Janelle Monae have also joined the film's voice cast, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Original Rio cast members Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, will.i.am and Jamie Foxx are also all expected to return for the sequel, which will follow Macaws Blu, Jewell and their three children as they attempt to learn to live in the Amazon jungle.
It has yet to be announced which characters any of the new cast additions will voice.

'When I Was Your Man' singer Bruno Mars recently announced the dates for the UK leg of his 'Moonshine Jungle' world tour, which will start in Belfast on 2nd October, moving on to shows across Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, London and Birmingham before wrapping at the Sheffield Motorpoint Arena on 12th October.
Rio 2 is currently set for release in cinemas on 11th April, 2014.
