The 'Grenade' singer says he feels "sick" after hearing that the 'How Will I Know Singer' has passed away.
Bruno Mars has lamented the loss of Whitney Houston following news of the 'Heartbreak Hotel' singer's death yesterday (11th February) aged 48.
Canadian pop star Justin Bieber has also commented on the passing of the 'I Will Always Love You' singer and actress, as well as sending condolences to her friends and family.
"This is terrible news. I'm sick to my stomach," Bruno Mars tweeted. "Nobody sang like Whitney.
"Just heard the news. So crazy. One of the GREATEST VOICES EVER just passed," 'Baby' singer Justin posted. "RIP Whitney Houston. My prayers go out to her friends and family."
Whitney Houston's death was confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department yesterday after emergency services were called to her hotel room at the Beverley Hilton Hotel where she was staying.
The police are launching an official investigation into the death of the 'My Love Is Your Love' singer but say there was no evidence of any criminal conduct at the scene.
Whitney Houston's musical career spanned almost three decades and saw her sell over 170 million albums, singles and videos during her life.
Jennifer Hudson is expected to perform a special tribute to Whitney Houston at the Grammy Awards 2012 tonight at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
