Britney Spears Nominated For Worldwide Act Award At 2011 MTV EMAs
Britney Spears has been nominated in the new Worldwide Act category at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).
The nominees for the new award have been voted for by members of the public and recognises peoples' favourite hometown artists.
Britney is shortlisted alongside Lena from Europe, BIGBANG from Asia Pacific, Africa's Abdelfattah Grini and Restart from Latin America.
Fans can vote for the winner until 4th November.
Lady Gaga looks set to dominate this year's EMAs after picking up six nods, including Best Video for 'Born This Way'.
The 'Judas' singer will perform at the ceremony in Belfast alongside Jessie J, LMFAO and Jason Derulo.
The 18th annual EMAs will be broadcast on MTV at 8pm (GMT) on 6th November.
