Britney Spears "Saddened" To Hear About Fan Death

Britney Spears has expressed her condolences to the family of a fan who died after attending one of her gigs in Ireland.

Siobhan Healy, 31, died instantly after she was thrown from a fairground ride near the O2 Arena, where she had earlier watched Britney perform.

In a message on Twitter, Brit wrote: "I was saddened to hear of the tragic accident in Dublin. My heart goes out to the family. --Britney"

 An investigation has been launched to determine how the accident happened.

Meanwhile, Britney is due to kick off her UK tour with two gigs at London's O2 Arena on Thursday and Friday (27^th and 28^th October).
