The 'Criminal' singer's new hit will feature on the soundtrack of The Smurfs 2 this summer.
Britney Spears has confirmed the official premiere of her new song 'Ooh La La', fresh from the track's early leak online this week.
The 'I Wanna Go' singer will release the song as part of the soundtrack for upcoming animated sequel The Smurfs 2 in mid-June, and announced the release date on Twitter this weekend.
"I heard an early demo of #OohLaLa smudged its way onto the internet today," Britney tweeted last night (18th May). "The real version will be at radio and iTunes June 16th :)"
The release of 'Ooh La La' comes fresh from Britney's phenomenal success with her will.i.am team-up 'Scream & Shout', which topped the Vodafone Big Top 40 earlier this year.
Britney is also set to head back into the recording studio next week to begin working on her eighth studio album alongside executive producer will.i.am.
