Thankfully the ‘Piece Of Me’ star is OK, but doctors have advised her to reschedule some of her shows.
Watch your step, Britters! Britney Spears has had to cancel some of her Las Vegas shows after falling on stage and injuring her ankle.
Britney was performing ‘(You Drive Me) Crazy’ as part of her ‘Piece Of Me’ residency in Las Vegas when her ankle gave way and she tumbled over on it.
She definitely styled it out and carried on like a trooper, but doctors have ordered her to cancel and reschedule a few of her forthcoming shows to rest it.
While it’s one of the most graceful stage falls we’ve seen, some eagle eyed fans still managed to capture the moment on camera – ouch!
Luckily Britney tweeted that she was OK, and after a bit of R&R she should be back performing those famous Britney dance moves on stage in no time.
Thank you for all of the sweet wishes! Had a little scare on stage tonight with my ankle but I’m ok!

Britney’s not had a good history with hurting herself while performing – she had to undergo knee surgery in 1999 after twisting her knee while rehearsing and ended up under the knife for a second time in 2004 when she hurt her knee filming her ‘Outrageous’ music video.
Dancing in heels is pretty hazardous!
