The longtime bassist left the group last month to pursue other musical projects.
Brendon Urie has spoken publicly for the first time about longtime touring bassist Dallon Weekes' recent departure from the band.
As we previously reported, Dallon posted a message on his social media on December 27th announcing that he was no longer a part of the group. He had spent eight years performing with the band and wrote on their fourth album Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die.
Now, Brendon has spoken to fans during an Instagram Live session about the lineup change, wishing Dallon all the best and shutting down some of the more negative reactions and rumours that have been floating around online:
"I hate to see all this negativity but, you know what, I'm just gonna keep being positive. Because that's how I feel and I'm sure that's how he feels. We're both looking for positivity and that's exactly how I feel. I support him 100%. I'm excited to see what he gets up to. I hope everybody else feels that same way. Enough said."
