Billie Eilish is famously vegan and she regularly encourages people to stop eating meat to combat climate change.
Billie Eilish has called out people who wear mink fur for fashion, shortly after encouraging her followers to try going vegan.
It's no secret that Billie Eilish is vegan. The 17-year-old popstar first gave up meat and dairy products in 2014 and since then she's always made clear that she doesn't support the killing of animals for food and clothing. Beyond that, Billie often uses her platform to educate her fans about the horrific realities of the farming industry and promote popular vegan initiatives. Just recently (28 Sep), Billie asked her fans to "cut out meat and dairy" in a video to help stop global warming.

Now Billie is taking to her Instagram page to criticise people who buy clothes made out of mink.
Just this week, a video went viral of an adorable mink meeting a hiker in the wild. One person then retweeted the clip saying: "That's what yall be making coats out of? Yall mfs evil af lol [sic]." The tweet quickly amassed over 177,000 likes. Yesterday (14 Oct), Billie posted screenshots from the video on Instagram, writing: "just so you know... this is a mink. you bitches getting mink lashes and mink slippers disgust me lol [sic]." She then added: "where is yo heart at [sic]?"
Back in June, Billie shared videos of animal treatment in the farming industry on Instagram. She then posted a story, writing: "I keep my mouth shut most of the time about this because I believe everyone should do eat and say whatever they want... and I don’t feel the need to shove what I believe in, in anyone’s face." The videos showed workers at Fair Oaks Farm in Indiana allegedly abusing newborn calves when they wouldn't drink milk.
Billie added: "but if you can watch the videos that I just posted and not give a fuck that its YOU contributing by LITERALLY EATING the creatures that are being fully tortured just for your pleasure. I feel sorry for you. I understand that meat tastes good... and i know you think you're just one person and it 'won't change anything if you stop' but that's ignorant and stupid." She ended the post saying: "be smarter."

Even if you don't have the will power to go vegan like Billie, she is right that consuming meat and dairy is harmful not only to animals but the world at large. Simply reducing the number of animal products that you consume can help work towards a better cleaner world.
