Billie Eilish endorses Joe Biden for US President in powerful Democratic National Convention speech
Billie tells fans to "vote like our lives depend on it" as she endorses Joe Biden during her DNC performance.
Billie Eilish tore into Donald Trump's presidency as she endorsed Joe Biden's bid to be president during the Democratic National Convention yesterday evening (Aug 19).
Billie has become increasingly more confident expressing her political views. Earlier this year at the height of the Black Lives Matter protests, the 18-year-old singer-songwriter used her platform to call out white people who say "all lives matter", and last year she commented on controversial abortion laws that were passed in Georgia, Ohio, and Alabama.
Now, Billie is using her platform to encourage her fanbase to mobilise against Donald Trump in the upcoming U.S elections on November 3.

In her powerful speech, Billie starts by saying: "You don’t need me to tell you things are a mess. Donald Trump is destroying our country and everything we care about."
"Silence is not an option and we cannot sit this one out," she continues, before telling her fans. "We all have to vote like our lives and the world depend on it. Please register, please vote."
Billie then performed a rousing rendition of her new song 'My Future'. Watch that performance below.
Billie Eilish - my future (Live)
“You don’t need me to tell you things are a mess. Donald Trump is destroying our country and everything we care about.
"We need leaders who will solve problems like climate change and COVID, not deny them. Leaders who will fight against systemic racism and inequality, and that starts by voting for someone who understands how much is at stake, someone who is building a team that shares our values. It starts with voting against Donald Trump and for Joe Biden.
"Silence is not an option and we cannot sit this one out. We all have to vote like our lives and the world depend on it, because they do. The only way to be certain of the future is to make it ourselves.
"Please register, please vote."
